Redemption for “Whitey” at The Hummer

HUMBOLDT, Kan. - Justin “Whitey” Folk lost a squeaker last week at the Humbolddt Speedway, and was really on a mission this Friday as he left the balance of the USRA Modified field in the dust.

Folk took command on lap 1 and drove like he was on rails.

His older sibling, Jess Folk Jr., caught sight of little brother at the end, but never seriously challenged and finished second.

Ryan Whitworth took the third slot, followed by Brian McGowen and Gary Langworthy Jr.

Racing resumes Sunday with the Dewaine Whitworth Memorial.

Gates open at 5:00 with racing at 7:00.
