Chateau Raceway washed out
LANSING, Minn. - Friday night's racing action at the Chateau Raceway powered by Miner's Outdoor Power & Recreation was a victim of Mother Nature.
After losing the season opener to cold weather, the track was able to dodge the rain drops for four weeks in a row before this weekend.
Light rain moved into the area about mid-afternoon and stuck around so the decision to pull the plug on the night's action was an easy one that was made early enough to allow drivers and fans to make other plans for the night.
Action is scheduled to pick up again next Friday night, May 15, at 7:30.
