There was a lot of attention paid to racing in Iowa this past weekend with the first ever NASCAR Nationwide Series race at the Iowa Speedway. But the real action was taking place at local dirt tracks, and nowhere was that more true than at the Upper Iowa Speedway.
Under a cool August night and an early morning rain shower, the action at the Springfield Raceway lived up to the billing as the "Quick Quarter" with an excellent racing surface and side-by-side action all night long.

Headlining the regular program will be the USRA Modifieds as they will be battling for track and national points in the American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series. USRA Modifieds will pay $700 to win and $100 to start the main event.
