Sizzling temperatures settled in over Central Missouri Speedway on Saturday but even hot weather couldn’t slow down the drivers on hand for competition in the USRA Modifieds on Budweiser Night.

Weekly racing will be in full swing this Saturday at the Central Missouri Speedway with the USRA Modifieds in a $1,000-to-win main event, plus Out-Pace USRA B-Mods are also on the race program.

It’s a renaissance year in the making for the staff at Central Missouri Speedway. The 22nd year of competition at the speedway under the guidance of arguably two of the most giving promoters in the business.

Warm evening weather greeted race fans and drivers on Comfort Inn-Warrensburg Station Night at Central Missouri Speedway, and 23 USRA Modified drivers once again exhibited their driving skills.

Matt Dotson of Hallsville finished off a clean sweep of USRA Modified action Sunday night with a $3,000 victory during the track’s annual Memorial Day Weekend special events.
