Due to scheduling conflicts, officials at the Springfield Raceway have decided to cancel the 2nd Annual March Madness featuring USRA Modifieds and USRA B-Mods.

Springfield Raceway owners Jerry Hoffman and Doug Bland are pleased to announce that the track will fly the USRA banner again in 2013 for both the Modified and B-Mod divisions.

The Springfield Raceway will be honoring the top drivers from the 2012 Transport Graphics Championship Season on Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Indigo Sky Casino.

In August, an agreement was reached between Dirt Works Race Cars owner, Gary Clark, and Jerry Hoffman, who owns Hoffman Race Cars, is the promoter of the Springfield Raceway, and now is the new owner of Dirt Works.

The Springfield Raceway was back in action Saturday night as the 11th annual Home Pro Larry Phillips Memorial was held with 160 race teams checking in to help pay honor to the legendary driver.

Jackie Dalton captured his second of the season-ending Fab Five Springfield Raceway specials Saturday by taking advantage of the only caution on lap 17 in the USRA Modified feature.

The Springfield Raceway will host Budweiser Octoberfast this Saturday, Oct. 6, and will feature USRA Modifieds in a $500-to-win, $100-to-start feature and USRA B-Mods competing for $300 to win and $40 to start.

The Springfield Raceway was back in action Saturday night as USRA Modifieds and USRA B-Mods competed for national points and an exciting overall night of racing highlighted the racing program with over 110 race teams competed.

The 12th Annual Larry Phillips Memorial presented by Home Pro of Joplin has been moved from Oct. 13 to Nov. 3. The event will feature Late Models plus support classes.

On Saturday night, Sept. 29, action fires up again at the Springfield Raceway featuring a mechanics race and ladies powder puff on the racing card.
