Rules for the 2014 USRA Weekly Racing Series are complete and are available on the USRA website, officials from the United States Racing Association announced today.

Drivers in the two open-wheel divisions are locked in tight battles with razor-thin margins that will come down to the final night of racing while the leaders in the two full-fendered divisions have simply to wait until Oct. 20 to be crowned USRA national champions.

William Gould topped a stout field of USRA Modifieds Saturday night at the Southern Oklahoma Speedway.

In the USRA Modified feaure there was one heck of a duel between Travis Penrod and Rodney Sanders. Penrod scored the heat but Sanders snagged the feature.

Southern Oklahoma Speedway owner and promoter John Webb is gearing up for his first full year of racing action at the Ardmore, Okla., race track (formerly called Lake Country Speedway).

Satruday night was the first night under the direction of John and Nicki Webb, new owners of the Lake Country Speedway. There were already a few welcomed changes in place, and the program went smoothly.
