Lake Country Speedway double track points, $500 to win USRA Western Flyer HotMods this Saturday
ARDMORE, Okla. -- Lake Country Speedway would like to invite you to the 2011 Don Davenport Memorial Day Race this Saturday, May 28.
A top prize of $500 has been posted for the winner of the USRA Western Flyer HotMod division.
Also on the racing card will be USRA RHS Modifieds also racing for $500 to win, plus USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars, Limited Late Models, Tornados and Hobby Stocks.
All three USRA-sanctioned divisions will be racing for USRA Weekly Racing Series national points and double track points.
Gates open at 5 p.m., sign-in closes at 7, the drivers meeting is at 7:10 and the green flag drops at 8 p.m. General admission is $12 for adults, $8 for kids ages 7-12 and children 6 and under get in for free. Pit passes are $25.
Weather permitting, LCS will hold an open practice on Friday night, May 27, from 8 p.m. until the action stops. Pit passes are $15 and grandstands are free.
The Lake Country Speedway is a fast 3/8-mile semi-banked clay oval located just south of Ardmore on I-35 to exit 29, then 0.7 mile east on US 70, then 1.8 miles south on US 77.
Attention Drivers: If you do not have a USRA license, you may purchase a $20 temporary license for one night. We allow B-Mod suspension to run with a solid pull bar, but must be under USRA Western Flyer HotMod power train rules.
