Details released for the 44th Annual Cecil Harlan Kegger


The 44th Annual Cecil Harlan Kegger is back at the mighty Tri-State Speedway, April 26-29, featuring three racing nights plus an open practice with over $60,000 up for grabs.

Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series classes include USRA Modifieds, Medieval USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, sunoco USRA Factory Stocks and USRA Tuner.

USRA Modifieds will run two complete shows paying (running two complete shows paying $1,000 and $2,000 to win, respectively.

Wednesday, April 26: Open test and tune for any car in any class from 6-9 p.m. Pits open at 4. Grandstand concessions will be closed. Pit passes are $20 for adults and $10 for kids ages 6-12.

Thursday, April 27: Full race show for non-sanctioned area front-wheel drives, mini-stocks, 360/economy mods, area factory stocks and pure stocks. Pits open at 4 and grandstands open at 5:30. Hot laps start at 6:30. Pit passes are $30 for adults and $20 for kids 6-12 years old. Stands are $10 for adults and free for kids 10 and under.

Friday, April 28: Full race show for USRA Modifieds and USRA Tuners plus area super stocks/gn. Medieval USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods will qualify. Pits open at 4 with stands opening at 5:30. Hot laps start at 6:30. Pit passes are $35 for adults and $20 for kids 6-12 years old. Stands are $15 for adults with kids 10 and under free.

Saturday, April 29: Full show for USRA Modifieds, Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks and late models plus last-chance qualifiers an features for Medieval USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods. Pits open at 4 and stands open at 5:30. Pit passes are $40 for adults and $20 for kids 6-12 years old. Stands are $20 for adults and kids 10 and under are free.

In all, a dozen classes will be in action. Hot laps and start times may vary depending on car count.

Payouts and Entry Fees:
USRA Modifieds (Friday) - $1,000 to win, $200 to start; $75 entry fee.
USRA Modifieds (Saturday) - $2,000 to win, $300 to start; $150 entry fee.
Medieval USRA Stock Cars - $1,000 to win, $200 to start; $75 entry fee.
USRA B-Mods - $1,500 to win, $250 to start; $100 entry fee.
Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks - $800 to win, $80 to start; $25 entry fee.
USRA Tuners - $300 to win, $40 to start; no entry fee.
