The 2023 Fairmont Raceway schedule has been finalized and some great events are in the mix. Join us Friday, May 5, as we open up our action-packed season featuring five Summit USRA Weeky Racing Series classes.

Returning events in 2023 will be the USRA Summer Shootout opening in Fairmont on Monday, June 19. Minnesota Corn Growers have stepped up to sponsor our Salute to Agriculture Night on Wednesday, June 28. Wyffel's Hybrids will be sponsoring a cheeseburger for Minnesota Corn Growers members in attendance. The 4th Annual Bacon Town Showdown is set for Monday, August 14, featuring $4,000 to win and $400 to start for USRA Stock Cars plus $1,000 to win and $150 to start for USRA Hobby Stocks.

Area youth is the focus at the Fairmont Raceway. We look to give away more than 60 bicycles to area youth in attendance on Friday, June 2; area teachers will earn more than $5,000 to on Wednesday, July 12; and more than 250 backpacks will be given away on Wednesday, August 2. To support these event, reach out to track staff.

New this year is our fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota. We look to raise $20,000 for  Make-A-Wish Minnesota. We'll be accepting donations and sponsorship from area supporters in an attempt to make two (2) wishes come true for terminally ill children in Minnesota. John and Shannon Furst have stepped up to help us organize and run this event. They also run the Make-A-Wish event at the Mason City Motor Speedway.

Continuing to crush it: Year after year, the USRA continues to attract more racetracks and dirt track racers through fair, logical and cost-effective rules accompanied by an organization that puts the racers, racetracks and their fans first. In the 2022 Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series, more than 50 of America’s finest dirt ovals host over 1,000 nights of racing.
