USRA American Racer Modified Series bound for Lawton this Saturday

The USRA American Racer Modified Series presented by Day Motor Sports invades the red clay oval at the Lawton Speedway in Lawton, Okla., this Saturday, May 21, with a $2,000 top prize awaiting the main event winner.

The target this season has fallen onto the back of Chris Henigan. After opening the 2022 campaign with back-to-back wins, the 40-year-old from Marshall, Texas, posted a third-place finish in the most recent race and sits atop the ARMS points standings.

Nonetheless, the season is just getting started and ‘Big Daddy’ Joe Duvall of Claremore, Okla., is just 26 points behind Henigan after capturing the April 9 event at the Super Bee Speedway.

Fayetteville, Ark.’s Tyler Wolff and his ARMI machine is third in the standings followed by defending series champion Triston Dycus of Maypearl, Texas, and Kenny Gaddis of Diana, Texas.

Casey Roderick, Jason Sartain , Manuel Williams Jr., Sean Gaddis and Tommy Cannon round out the top 10 in the points.

In addition to the high-powered USRA Modifieds, Saturday’s show will also showcase the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series featuring USRA Limited Mods and USRA Tuners with Mini-Stocks also on the card.
