Added money, fireworks for Sports Park Raceway’s “Dicky Marsh Memorial”


This Friday, May 20, the Sports Park Raceway powered by Fort Dodge Ford Lincoln Toyota presents the “Dicky Marsh Memorial” featuring the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series plus a special appearance by the Nostalgia Dirt Series.

Third round weekly action will feature United Plant Services USRA Modifieds, Marsh Concrete USRA Stock Cars, MechaniCo USRA B-Mods, Pickett Salvage USRA Hobby Stocks and Matt’s Tire Service USRA Tuners, plus the vintage stock cars.

Over $4,000 has been added to the purse for this big event and there are no entry fees for competitors.

There will be an $8,000 fireworks show at the end of the night and a lot of bikes and other giveaways for kids. Spread the word and get ready for an awesome night of racing this Friday, May 20.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and hot laps begin at 7:30 with racing to follow.
