Kemp scores another $1,000 payday at Diamond Park Speedway

Neil Kemp and his REMAX Mena Real Estate/Club 20 Suspension/Best Engines No. 20 parked it in victory lane again Saturday for the third time in 2022 at Diamond Park Speedway in the Sunoco USRA Factory Stock class.

Kemp has made the trip four times this year, he’s posted three wins and a second, two of those wins netting him $1,000 each. Talking about the racetrack Neil had this to say ‘So slick and smooth last night. You guys not coming are missing out unless you don’t like it slick.’

The feature race was fast, and Kemp had to hold off some charges from the 5-0 driven by Maud, Texas driver Cole Ogden who had a shot at Kemp in the heat race too. The  No. 32L of Luke Wheat also threw his name in the mix—at times you could toss a blanket over the top 3.

Track points leader Todd Collier from Magnolia slipped back from his front row starting spot to come home in fourth, making steady gains to stay atop the leaderboard at #thePark in the 2022 Sunoco USRA Factory Stock championship race.

In victory lane Kemp said ‘This is feature win No. 9 on the year, glad Justin Whitehead didn’t come so I could win. Thank you very much to all my sponsors for the help on this fast hot rod’. The Whitehead reference was the only blemish on his 2022 record at Diamond Park when he ran runner-up to the Outlaw Chassis maker.

The Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks will again race for $1,000 to win on Saturday, July 30, at Diamond Park Speedway.
