Big boost for USRA B-Mods in 2022

Jim Chisholm earned $4,000 in national points fund money for his 2021 USRA B-Mod National Championship—his second straight in the division. But if the 18-year-old from Osage, Iowa, can do it again in 2022, he'll see a 50% raise on his paycheck as USRA officials have announced a big boost in national points fund payouts for the USRA B-Mods in 2022.

2022 USRA B-Mod national points fund payout: 1. $6000, 2. $3500, 3. $2500, 4. $1700, 5. $1200, 6. $1000, 7. $900, 8. $800, 9. $700, 10. $600, 11. $500, 12. $400, 13. $300 14. $300 15. $300. Racers finishing 16th through 20th in the final national standings get $250.

The total national points fund payout is $21,950 which is an increase of $5,800 over last year's $16,150 posted points fund. Competitors also earn track and regional points fund money at year's end, along with top-finishing rookies and hundreds of contingency awards.
