Undesirable weather to prepare the race track surfaces and an impending forecast of rain and cold this weekend has forced event officials to wave the white flag and cancel this week’s Summit USRA Frost Busters at the Salina Speedway in Salina, Kan., and I-35 Speedway in Winston, Mo.

With the cancellation, the Arnold Motor Supply Iron Man Challenge featuring American Racer USRA Stock Cars and Out-Pace USRA B-Mods will now kick off the 2019 campaign with a Sunflower State doubleheader at the 81 Speedway in Park City, Kan., on Thursday, April 25, and the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Kan., on Friday, April 26.
