I-35 Speedway set for spectacular September
Here comes September and more racing fun at I-35 Speedway Motorsports Park.
This Saturday, Sept. 1, racing action returns as the chase for the track championships continue where you always receive the most racing for your money.
Gates open at 4:30 p.m. with hot laps at 6:15 and racing at 7.
Adults are $12, seniors (62 and over) and military $10, age 18 and younger are FREE.
I-35 Speedway is located at exit 64 off Interstate 35.
Of course, that leads us to October and the Summit Racing Equipment USRA Nationals, Wednesday-Saturday, Oct. 3-6. Three nights of electrifying edge-of-your-seat racing with a practice night on Wednesday to start the final month of the 2018 racing season.
I-35 Speedway becomes a little city during the Nationals with campers and race cars occupying the land.
Part of becoming a small city means providing food. Concessions are available throughout the facility. The Trackside Bar & Grill overlooking the racing in turn 1 is a great place for a meal. Large tenderloins, hot fries, walking tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, snow cones, sweet funnel cakes, root beer floats and beverages of your choice are all available to satisfy your appetite. With clean restrooms and always free parking, where else would you be on a Saturday night other than I-35 Speedway?
