Rain shortens Casey’s General Stores Night at I-35 Speedway

As showers poured down on the opposite side of Interstate 35, the I-35 Speedway began features while battling the closing storms on Casey’s Night at the Races. After four support class features, lightning entered the area, quickly followed by rain and forcing officials to cancel the rest of the night’s action.

The USRA Modifieds, Holley USRA Stock Cars and Out-Pace USRA B-Mods will all run their features on a later date.

Prior to the feature races, Randy Ainsworth and Chase Galvan picked up the Out-Pace USRA B-Mod heat wins. Aaron Sauter grabbed the Holley USRA Stock Car heat win. Mark Dotson and Dennis Elliott score USRA Modified heat wins.
