USRA Awards Banquet set for January 25
The annual USMTS/USRA Awards Banquet is approaching fast and the celebration of the 2024 racing season for both the Summit USMTS National Championship presented by RacinDirt and Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series, happens at the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City on Saturday, January 25.
This year’s gala will once again be a joint effort for both the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) and United States Racing Association (USRA). Competitors, crew members, track owners and officials, fans and members of the media are invited to attend this huge event.
Tickets are on sale now by calling Kelsey or Janet at (515) 832-6000 or (515) 832-7944 for banquet reservions. Individual tickets are $65 each. When calling, let us know the number of quests coming with you, who the driver is that is joining you.
Guests that come on Friday can join other early birds and some of the USMTS/USRA staff for a trip to Kansas City Power Lights District. We will be taking a shuttle from Ameristar on Friday at 8 p.m. and back again at 11 p.m. If you plan on being part of this please let Kelsey or Janet know that also so we can get the right-sized shuttle.
The ceremony will feature a luxurious and plentiful selection of fine food, plus a huge dessert bar. A cash bar will also be available. Doors open and social hour begins at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6 and the awards ceremony begins around 7 p.m. (no jeans or hats please). Space is limited.
More than $500,000 in cash and contingency awards will be handed out to racers, along with special awads for drivers and track operators.
