KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Aug. 22, 2025)—The 70th Anniversary Full Fender Blowout kicked off its first of two nights at Lakeside Speedway with a series of hard-fought preliminary races. Drivers battled for starting positions in the main event, with Dylan Holt and Danny Holt, both of Topeka, and Shayne Bailey of Kearney, Mo., claiming victory in the heat races.

The excitement continued in the dashes, which set the stage for Saturday's A-Main. Justin Seifert of Kansas City won the first dash, while Bailey secured his second win of the night by taking the victory in the second dash.

The wins by Seifert and Bailey guarantee them top starting spots for the final race.

Other notable performances came from Kacey Shields of Kansas City, Mo., and Kevin Anderson of Kansas City, who both had strong showings.

With the preliminary action concluded, the drivers will return tomorrow night to compete for the 70th Anniversary Full Fender Blowout victory.
