I-35 Speedway plans to be in action this Saturday, October 14, for Scobee Powerline Night featuring the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series.

Racing starts an hour earlier in October with gates opening at 3 p.m., drivers meeting pill draw close at 5 and first race at 6.

Weekly racing consists of USRA Modifieds, USRA B Mods and Medieval USRA Stock Cars, plus E-Mods, Pure Stocks and Sport Compacts. Last chances this month to earn those all-important USRA points. Additionally, there are battles within the points structure in all classes as we race to determine champions.

Make your plans to be a part of the I-35 Speedway banquet on November 4. Inquire at the ticket office about attending this fun event honoring our racers this past year.

Again the I-35 Speedway plans to race every Saturday this month. We look forward to seeing everyone for more of the best dirt racing in Missouri.

Gates open at 3 p.m. Located at exit 64 off Interstate 35 (1/4 mile east of the Interstate). Free parking. Mom-approved restrooms.

Concessions at Trackside Bar & Grill (turn 1) and at gate entrance (turn 4) featuring funnel cakes, chili dogs, large tenderloins, hot fries, walking tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers and popcorn, plus tea, water, pop, coffee, hot chocolate and beer.

McCarthy Auto Group Upgrades: Be on the lookout for McCarthy Auto Group upgrades. Upgrading fans with suite seats, pit passes and food vouchers each week.

ADDITIONAL DRIVER AND PIT CREW INFORMATION

Pit gates open at 3 p.m. Driver’s meeting and pill draw close 5 p.m. Hot laps 5:20-5:50 p.m. First heat race 6 p.m. Pit Passes: Drivers $35, pit crew and pit spectators $40, kids 6-10 $25, under 5 free. Drivers running late that can’t make pill draw close time, call the track at (660) 749-5317 and let track management know you are running late, and you can be added to the back of the races (no heat passing points will be awarded though).

I-35 Speedway Driver registration: Register with I-35 Speedway or print form at i-35speedway.net complete and bring with you. One-night temporary registration $15.

Fuel (110 and Premium) is available for sale at the track. American Racer tires are also for sale at the track. Also available Champion Race Products (oil, power steering fluid, brake fluid, gear oil) and Real Wheels.

Minors (17 and under): Everyone age 17 and under must have a completed Minor’s release to enter pits.

Competitors Minor’s Release: Must be a completed Minor’s release for all competitors 17 and younger AND it must include a copy of the birth certificate with either a valid state stamp or authentic seal.

USRA awards banquet January 27: The United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) and United States Racing Association (USRA) will host a joint awards banquet on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, at Harrah's Kansas City Hotel & Casino to celebrate the 2023 racing season for both organizations.
