Lee Hibner, Dixon, Isaacs I-35 Speedway winners
Ethan Isaacs won the USRA B-Mod main event.
More than 100 cars and drivers checked in for Casey’s Night at I-35 Speedway on Saturday. It was also Fan Appreciation Night with free general admission sponsored by Larry McFee Trucking, RacinDirt, Hwy 36 Auto & Diesel and the Johnson Family.
By this time in the season, Ethan Issacs usually has a few wins in the USRA B-Mods at I-35 Speedway. On Saturday, Issacs finally visited McCarthy Auto Group Victory Lane for the first time in 2023.
Josh Barnes had a great night as he competed for the victory and finished second.
Lucas Issacs rebounded from an early spin to finish third, Chase Moulton had a good run in fourth and points leader Corey Myers came home fifth.
Medieval USRA Stock Car points leader Jeff Dixon changed the look of his car this week and parked it back in McCarthy Auto Group Victory Lane for the fourth time this season.
Dixon had to get by leader Nic Hanes and Danny Holt to claim the victory, then had to hold off Holt in the closing laps.
Behind Holt, Hanes finished third, Scott Brown came home fourth and Bill Carter had a good run in fifth.
Lee Hibner finally got his first USRA Modified win of 2023 as he held off a stout field of competition.
At one point, Hibner lost the lead to Houston Johnson only to gain it back and set sail.
Darren Shaw gave chase to Hibner but finished second. Johnson finished third followed by good runs in fourth for Tyler Grooms and fifth for Richard Layne.
Congratulations to Treyton Pritchett, who was named Fan of the Week sponsored by Hartman Racing, Corey Myers Racing, David Oxford Racing, Tyler Grooms Racing, Hayes Racing, Keller Racing, Allen Racing, Kunze Racing, Fisk Family Racing, Hibner Racing, Johnson Motorsports, Dalton Strohl Racing and JDB Racing Videography & Design.
Join us next week for the McCarthy Auto Group Show-Me Spectacular and see more dirt trackin' at its best.
