Late race woes, fast racing highlight 81 Speedway action
Even with cooler temperatures, the racing remained hot Saturday night at the 81 Speedway.
The USRA B-Mods ran one of the cleanest races all year. With the racing surface slick top to bottom, the racing action was good from front to back.
It has been good to see Josh Everhart back racing with us more often.
He started sixth and was challenging Jacob Hodges and Henry Chambers for the top spot early on.
Chambers opened up a lead and Hodges kept the gap consistent from Everhart, K.C. Mullin and Slade Moore coming in fifth at the finish.
The night ended with the familiar face of Tyler Davis in O'Reilly Auto Parts Victory Lane.
All 20 laps of the main event were led by the No. 65 after passing two cars by the exit of turn two.
T.J. Tolan, Kenton Allen and Paden Phillips all battled for the second spot with a slider by Phillips to finish second.
Tolan found the scales in third, Allen was fourth and Flyin' Ryan McAninch rounded out the top five.
Thank you fans, crews, drivers and staff for another great night of racing. See you in two weeks at the 81 Speedway.
