Triton Krause won the USRA Late Model main event and track championship.

Leighton Broadcasting Winona and Busch Light set the stage for a memorable 2023 Season Championship Night at Mississippi Thunder Speedway on Friday, Aug. 25.

Rodney Sanders, Mitch Hovden, Joe Chisholm, Chris Hovden and Triton Krause all made visits to the Whitewater Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram Victory Lane with feature wins.

After all points were tallied, Josh Angst collected his unprecedented seventh track championship in th USRA Modified division with J.T. Wasmund second with Brandon Davis third.

A dramatic turn of events decided the USRA Late Model championship as Triton Krause raced to his first USRA Late Model feature win.

Meanwhile, Ryan Olson gave up second on a last-lap turn-four pass by Brad Waits. Olson settled for second in the standings—just one point behind Krause—with Waits third.

2023 was the first points paying full season for the Medieval USRA Stock Cars at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway.

The inaugural championship was awarded to Braydon Gjere with Brady Williamson in second with Jake James third.

Olson collected his third USRA B-Mod track championship ahead of Dylan Goettl and Harley Dais.

Chris Hovden also grabbed his third track championship in the USRA Hobby Stock division ahead of Devin Holthaus and Gavin Bartel third.
