The Fort Dodge Ford Lincoln Toyota Sports Park Raceway is set to award a $1,500 top prize to the USRA Modifieds this Friday, Aug. 11.

USRA Modified racers will be battling for a top prize of $1,500. With the likes of Josh Ruby, Devon Havlik, Dan Drury and Lyle Sathoff all picking up a victory at the Sports Park Raceway, we should be in for a wail of a show.

In addition to the USRA Modifieds running for the big prize, the Sports Park Raceway will continue to run all five classes this Friday along with the Attig & Hobbs Night playing a huge role for the grandstands. There will be a slew of bikes given away, along with some tablets, a candy toss, bounce houses for the kids, and some car rides around the big half mile during intermission.

The current point leaders are as follows: Modifieds: Devon Havlik, B-Mods: Ty Griffith, Stock Cars: Bill Crimmins, Hobby Stocks: Bryce Sommerfeld, Tuners: Tyler Crimmins.

We still have a tight battle going on in the King of the Park point standings thus far as well. Ty Griffith and Tyler Crimmins continue to lead the way with 198 points and Bryce Sommerfeld in third with 190 points. With less than a handful of races left, it looks like it will be coming to the end for the two drivers leading the way.

Grandstands will be $12 for adults, $10 for Juniors/Seniors/Miltary and 17 & Under are free. $30 pit passes for drivers and $20 for youth. Hot Laps will kick off at 7 p.m. with racing to follow.
