Bolin fast and furious at Humboldt
HUMBOLDT, Kan. -- April Fools’ Day marked the return of Friday night racing at the Humboldt Speedway and the performance of Brian Bolin was no laughing matter.
In the USRA RHS Modifieds Friday, Bolin proved to be lightning fast.
Starting from the outside pole, Bolin outdueled some of the toughest competition ‘The Hummer’ has to offer, leading the majority of the 20-lap feature en route to victory.
Paden Phillips, who moved into Modifieds from B-Mods last year, is apparently over any growing pains he may have suffered and turned in a strong runner-up finish.
Ryan Whitworth wrestled the third spot away from Jess Folk Jr. late in the race, with Cody Alger rounding out the top five.
