Rain wipes out American Racer USRA Modified Series at Ark-La-Tex Speedway
The American Racer USRA Modified Series presented by Day Motor Sports was ready to go Sunday afternoon when heavy rains moved in and washed out the event at the Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, La.
The series returns to the DFW Metroplex next weekend with a stop at the RPM Speedway in Crandall, Texas, on Friday, May 12, followed by a hot night at the legendary Devil's Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas, on Saturday, May 13.
Presented by Genuine RV, the Ark-La-Tex Speedway takes a weekend off before returning to action on Saturday, May 20, with the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series featuring USRA Modifieds, USRA Limited Mods, Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks and USRA Tuners plus two additional local classes.

With four events in the books, the 2023 campaign for the American Racer USRA Modified Series presented by Day Motor Sports is just getting started as 19 events remain on the calendar.
The schedule features 22 nights of racing at 15 of the finest dirt ovals in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. Each of the venues will host one or more events with a minimum of $2,000 to win and drivers earning points for the series points fund as well as Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national points.
Drivers can pre-enter for any or all ARMS events at MyRacePass.
