It was a cold and drizzly night for the Fayette County Speedway’s season opener Friday night. The drizzle turned to rain as the last checkered flag dropped.

Feature winners were Josh Roney of Postville in the USRA B-Mod class, Kevin Donlon of Decorah) in the Medieval USRA Stock Cars, West Union's Dylan Clinton in the USRA Hobby Stocks and Brad Stahl of Castalia in the USRA Tuners

This Friday, May 5, will be a regular night of racing featuring the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series with hot laps at 7 with racing to follow.

During intermission we will be recognizing the 2022 Hall of Fame inductees as that was cancelled twice last year due to weather. The track will be honoring Kenny Farrell, Kevin Vorwald, Paul Bemiss and Bob Gage. The 2023 Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be at a later date in the season.
