Officials from the Murray County Speedway have released their schedule of events for the 2009 racing season.

Officials at the Midway Speedway in Lebanon, Mo., have announced that the Modified division will again be sanctioned by the United States Racing Association for the 2009 season.

Bob Timm will be in his 19th year of racing in 2009, but the USRA Modified competitor will be a rookie in the racetrack promotions business as he takes over the reigns of the former Tri-Oval Speedway. With the new role also comes a new configuration for the track, a new clay surface and a new name. The facility will now be known as Mississippi Thunder Speedway.

The Outlaw Motor Speedway in Oktaha, Okla., will make the USRA Modifieds part of their weekly Friday night program beginning in 2009. Licensed drivers racing in the USRA Modified division at OMS will be eligible for track points funds, as well as national points funds as part of the American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series.
