The races for Wednesday, June 17, at the Southern Iowa Speedway have been canceled due to extremely wet conditions. With the grace of Mother Nature, racing action will continue next Wednesday, June 24, with the American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series featuring MUSCO Lighting Modifieds, Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars, Carter’s Manufacturing B-Mods and Hobby Stocks.

The races for Wednesday, June 17, at the Southern Iowa Speedway have been canceled due to extremely wet conditions. Racing action will continue next Wednesday, June 24, with the USRA Modifieds, USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars, USRA Karl Chevrolet B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks.

The Deery Brothers Summer Series event scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, at the Cresco Speedway was been rained-out. The roar of engines return on Sunday, June 28, for the Mighty Howard County Fair.

The Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa, is back in action on Wednesday, June 17, as Racemart presents the first of several “Licensed to Thrill” special events at the Mahaska County Half-Mile Monster. Race fans from the town of Oskaloosa simply need to show their driver's license or i.d. card to get FREE admission to the grandstands and enjoy a full night of racing action on the house!

The action will continue this Friday night at the Midway Speedway. Heading into this weekend's action, Eric Hudson of Rolla is the current poins leader in the USRA Modified division.

American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series results for Sunday, June 14, from the Boothill Speedway in Greenwood, La.

Chad Meyer and Mark Dobmeier each picked up feature wins in USRA Outlaw Sprint Car competition Sunday night at Huset's Speedway. In USRA Championship Sprint Car action, it was Cody Hansen earning the feature win while Tommy Barber, Colter Deutsch and Shawn each recorded their second win of the year in USRA Next Generation Sprint Cars, USRA Karl Chevrolet B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks, respectfully.

A top prize of $600 is up for grabs in the USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Car Shootout at the Murray County Speedway in Slayton, Minn.

Following last week’s cancellation due to poor weather, it was back to business this past Saturday night at Decorah’s Upper Iowa Speedway as picture perfect skies greeted a packed grandstand for some fantastic racing.

On Images by Design and US Army Night at the Deer Creek Speedway, Bob Timm and Steve Wetzstein battled the first lap for the lead of the EZ Fabricating USRA Modified feature.

On only his third night out with a new car, former Springfield Raceway track champion Erik Maggard grabbed the lead on lap 7 and never looked back in grabbing his first USRA Modified feature win of the season Saturday night.
