Tyler Droste took the lead at the drop of the green flag, and then led all 20 laps of the main event Friday night at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway to notch his first victory in the Industrial Material Surplus Iron Man Challenge for USRA B-Mods.

Jason Cummins capped his weekend off with a win in the USRA RHS Modifieds and Kylie Kath made a late-race pass to win the USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mod feature.

Keith Foss topped the USRA RHS Modified division over the 44 cars that entered the night’s event. Walski also had a much-needed sweep in the USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mods.

With $10,000 on the line and fireworks flying in the sky, the 31 USRA RHS Modified qualifiers took to the Mississippi Thunder Speedway 3/8-mile oval for the 2nd Annual USRA Modified Nationals presented by Elmer’s Auto Salvage.
