Due to a forecast of wet and cool weather, Saturday's racing program at Creek County Speedway has been moved to Sunday.
The popular Champ Sprints will be sanctioned by the United States Racing Association starting March 19 at the Creek County Speedway in Kellyville, Okla. The Brill Motor Speedway in Meeker, Okla., will be running Champ Sprints with USRA sanction as well.
The season finally got underway Saturday at Creek County Speedway and 76 cars in opened their point seasons, including the first modified race under USRA sanction which saw Colby Artherton going down in the record books as the first main event winner.
Weekly racing is scheduled to begin on Saturday, March 5, at the Creek County Speedway with the track’s first points race of the 2011 season and the first race for the Modifieds under the USRA banner.
