With rain forcing Friday night's action to be cancelled, officials made the decision to make up the race on Saturday night and the decision was a good one as 94 race teams checked into the pits with a quick and racy track.
With racing being cancelled Friday night, June 20, due to rain, the Midway Speedway will be racing a regular points show with regular payout on Saturday night, June 21. Friday's cancellation was the tenth this season, so with the I-44 Speedway not ready to open yet, this was a prime chance to help make up this rain-out.
