The 2023 racing season at the Deer Creek Speedway boasts a 28-race schedule along with three practice events.  The season will kick off April 15 with the annual car show followed by a practice night.  Saturday, April 22, will see the cars take to the track for the first race night of the season.

The season will feature five weeky racing divisions that will include four Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series divisions. USRA Modifieds, Medieval USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods return in 2023 and the USRA Hobby Stocks make their debut as a Saturday night staple. Wissota Midwest Modifieds are also on the card.

The month of May is where things start to pick up with the expansion of the USMTS Southern MN Spring Challenge going to a three-day race event with a practice night before hand. May 24-27 will be the first of two trips to the high banks for the stars of the USMTS as they race for $3,000 to win Thursday, $5,000 to win Friday and $10,000 to win on Saturday.

Except for the two Thunder Summer Series events, USRA B-Mods will compete in two separate "A" features on nights where the car count is 40 or more. The track wiill be paying the regular purse for both features.

The Thunder Summer Series is a partnership with Mississippi Thunder Speedway which will pay the USRA Modifieds $2,000 to win and  USRA B-Mods $1,000 to win each night along with a points fund for the combined two weekends paying the USRA Modified champion $2,000 the USRA B-Mod champion $1,000.

The first weekend of the Thunder Summer Series happens June 24. The Thunder Summer Series continues July 1 along with one of the areas largest fireworks displays following the races.

The Annual NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50 returns on July 6-8 featuring the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and MLRA Late Models. They will once again be joined by the USRA Modifieds all three nights.

The fan favorite Tasseldega Nights returns July 15 with free grandstand admission thanks to the local County Minnesota Corn Growers Association.

Veterans Night returns to the speedway August 12 and champions will be crowned in all five weekly classes on August 26.

September wraps up the season starting on September 2 with the Labor Day Duel featuring USRA Modifieds racing for $3,000 to win.  September 16 the USRA Stock Car Nationals has taken a big jump and is now paying $10,000 to win the Stock Cars and the USRA Hobby Stocks will be back once again chasing $1,000 to win.

The season finishes up with the Featherlite Fall Jamboree, September 20-23, featuring three nights and a practice before hand for the USMTS Modifieds and USRA B-Mods. The USMTS Modifieds will be racing for $3,000 to win on Thursday, $5,000 to win on Friday and $12,000 to win on Saturday.
