This Sunday night, Aug. 14, will be one of the biggest events ever held at the Mason City Motor Speedway in Mason City, Iowa.

Race for a Wish presented by the Make-A-Wish Foundation will feature several Items auctioned in both silent and live auctions with dozens of generous sponsors stepping up to make this an incredible night for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation will get $2 from every adult ticket sold, and sponsors are offering additional $1 per adult donations.

Just to name a few, Performance Bodies is donating $2,000 while the North Iowa Fair and Midwest Pipe Supply have committed to $1,000 each.

Action in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series will feature USRA Modifieds, Medieval USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks, USRA Tuners and Outlaw Mini-Mods.

The pit gate opens at 3 p.m. and grandstands open at 4. The driver draw closes at 5:15 with the pit meeting at 5. Hot laps begin at 5:30 with racing to follow.
