Deer Creek Speedway adds USRA B-Mods to 2010 weekly program

SPRING VALLEY, Minn. – Officials from the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn., have announced that the popular USRA Karl Chevrolet B-Mods will join the track's weekly program in 2010.

In addition to a stout track points fund, drivers will also be eligible to garner points in the American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series and the lucrative national points fund that accompanies it.

“In respect to those making decisions for the upcoming season, and the overwhelming interest from fans and drivers in he region, we felt it was important to announce this information as soon as possible,” said Race Director Justin Queensland. “We feel the addition of the USRA B-Mods will allow us to include the fan base and drivers located in these areas and also offer a competitive class for younger drivers to participate in.”

USRA Modifieds will continue to headline the Saturday night program at Deer Creek. WISSOTA Late Models, Super Stocks, Midwest Modifieds and Street Stocks will also be returning, Queensland said.

Queensland also noted the RaceCeivers and AMB transponders will be mandatory in all classes for the 2010 season.

Owned and operated by the Queensland family, the Deer Creek Speedway is a 60-acre facility featuring one of the Midwest’s most state-of-the-art racing complexes. The high-banked 3/8-mile clay oval puts on an average of 30 events a year, including marquee annual events such as the Gopher 50 and Featherlite Fall Jamboree with weekly racing programs on Saturday nights from April through September.
