Centerville Super Speedway forced to cancel

Track owner Wayne Tidwell unfortunately had to add the Centerville Super Speedway in Centerville, Ark., to the growing list of postponed races amidst previous and forecasted torrential rains throughout the Natural State.

‘We really wanted to race but even if we could get the track dried out it’s forecasted with heavy chances of rain at race time tomorrow and we felt it best to cancel and give people advance notice." said Tidwell.

Already racing has been postponed at several area racetracks and the Easter Weekend looks to be a washout.

The "Outlaw Track of the South" will resume racing next Friday, April 22. featuring USRA B-Mods battling for $1,000 to win.

Also competing will be Stingers, Lead Sleds, Arkansas Factory Stocks and Hot Wheels Late Models

The pits open at 6 p.m., grandstands open at 7 and racing gets underway at 9 p.m.
