The Crawford County Speedway in Van Buren, Ark., has joined the ever-expanding family of dirt racetracks to fly the USRA banner and will feature the USRA Modifieds and USRA B-Mods as part of their Saturday night programs.

Competing for track, regional and national points in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series, the season kicks off with a two-day special on Friday and Saturday, March 18-19, and the season concludes on Saturday, Oct. 1.

Currently, there are 26 race nights penciled-in for the USRA Modifieds and USRA B-Mods. A Memorial Day special on May 29, fireworks show on July 3 and Labor Day special on Sept. 4, will all happen on a Sunday night.

Topless Night is slated for Saturday, Aug. 6, with USRA Modifieds racing for $1,000 to win and USRA B-Mods battling for a $500 top prize.

The track was previously sanctioned in 2015 with Shannon Weese capturing the USRA Modified track championship. Carl McDade is the track’s defending Modified champ and Chris Tuck was the 2021 B-Mod track champ.
