Dillon McCowan won the USRA Modified main event.

The Smokin’ Trackside BBQ Bash was a great success at I-35 Speedway with 135 racecars on Saturday plus 25 KCBS BBQ teams made for an exciting tasty weekend.

Seeburg Mufflers Saturday action started with Tyler Cadwallader picking up feature win No. 8 in the USRA B-Mods as he flew to victory. Lonnie Hibner finished in the second position. Ethan Issacs moved up eight spots to finish third, followed by Jake Richards and Collin Pierce.

Thomas Ground made his return to I-35 Speedway a successful one picking up the win in the Medieval USRA Stock Cars. Mich Ross had a good weekend finishing second, followed by Doug Keller, Michael Knight and Tony Manley.

USRA Modifieds saw a new face in the McCarthy Auto Group Victory Lane as Dillon McCowan scratched it off his bucket list with a win. Houston Johnson, Daniel Harris, Tyler Hibner and Lee Hibner battled hard to round out the top five.

In the drawing for Fan of the Week presented by Lowe Racing, Robb Racing and Hibner Racing, Saturday’s winner was Rosemary Peeler.
