FAIRMONT, Minn. (July 17, 2025)—Fairmont Raceway roared to life Thursday night for the 11th Annual Summer Spectacular powered by Bettin Trucking, delivering a thrilling night of Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series action. Fans were treated to intense battles across four classes in support of the USMTS Modifieds.

In the USRA Stock Car division, Myles Michehl of Fort Dodge, Iowa, put on a clinic, driving from his fifth-place starting position to claim a hard-fought victory in the feature event.

Taking the runner-up spot was Derek Green of Granada, who started on the pole and held strong throughout the race. Rodney Schweizer of Kansas City, Kan., made an incredible charge from 11th to finish third. Jordan Rogotzke of Sanborn secured fourth place, with Luke Sathoff of Jackson rounding out the top five after a remarkable climb from 15th on the grid.

The USRA B-Mod feature delivered edge-of-your-seat excitement with Ty Griffith of Blairsburg, Iowa, emerging victorious. Griffith, who started second, steadily worked his way to the front and held off fierce competition to take the checkered flag.

Klay Beemer of Fairmont, starting fourth, drove a strong race to finish second, while Jake Richards of Lansing, Kan., who started on the pole, secured a commendable third-place finish. Rounding out the top five were Jeff Carter of Mapleton and Jayden Larson of Mankatoin fifth.

The USRA Hobby Stock division provided plenty of thrills, with Jeremy Wegner of Greattinger, Iowa, celebrating a popular win from the pole position. Kolby Goepel of Britt, Iowa, started fifth and drove an excellent race to secure second place.

Parker Anderson of Welcome finished third, Jeremy Crimmins of Fort Dodge, Iowa, took fourth, and Landon Krohn of Rowena, S.D., finished fifth and completed a strong run from ninth.

In was Slade Fitzgerald of Sherburn who dominated the evening in the USRA Tuners. Starting from the pole, Fitzgerald led every lap of the feature to claim a convincing victory.

Brandon Hartmann of Fairmont, Minn., finished in the second position, with Darwin Brown of Jackson, Minn., securing third.
