Springfield Raceway falls to weather Saturday, racing USRA B-Mods Sunday

Due to extreme heavy rains Friday and Saturday early morning, officials at the Springfield Raceway were forced to cancel the Saturday night program.

With the forecast of better weather and time to dry out, owner Jerry Hoffman has announced the the track will be running a special Sunday evening program with racing action starting at 5:45.

The pit gates will open at 2 with hot laps at 5:15. Driver cut off is slated for 4:40.

USRA B-Mods will be competing for track, regional and National points.

Racing action will also feature Modifieds, Midwest Modz, Pure Stocks, Legends and FWD/Mini Stocks.
