Lebanon, Springfield tracks admit veterans free this weekend
LEBANON, Mo. - Both the Midway Speedway in Lebanon, Mo., and the Springfield Raceway in Springfield, Mo., want to say 'thank you' to the veterans of the armed forces by admitting them into the grandstands free this weekend at both tracks.
The Midway Speedway will be admitting veterans in free Friday night as they present a $500-to win B-Mod feature, along with Enduro Racing, Factory Stocks and Bombers. Kids 10 and under also get a chance to race at intermission in the first bike races this weekend.
The Springfield Raceway will be admitting past and present military personnel into the grandstands on Saturday as the track will be running the regular race show including USRA Modifieds, Late Models, SportMods, Bombers and Legends Cars, along with spectator drags at intermission.
The Midway Speedway is located on East 32 and B Highway and starts at 8 p.m. while the Springfield Raceway is located on Westgate out by the Springfield Regional Airport and starts action at 7 p.m.
