SPRING VALLEY, Minn. - Deer Creek Speedway is excited to announce a great partnership with Hartland Fuels bringing the year ending special the Hartland Nationals.

The Hartland Nationals will feature all five classes of cars racing for one of the largest two day purses ever offered at Deer Creek Speedway.

The WISSOTA Late Models will be racing for $4,000 to win, USRA modifieds $2,000 to win, WISSOTA Super Stocks $1,500 to win.  WISSOTA Midwest Modifeds $1,000 to win and the WISSOTA Street Stocks $500.00 to win.  Racing action will begin at 7:00 on Friday October 3rd with Heat races and dashes for all classes.  Racing action will return on Saturday night for the "B" features and the Features.

The dash format will be exciting as cars transfer from the heat races will have to race into the feature as only six cars will transfer from the dash to the feature event.  Then the dash winner will draw to see how many positions will be inverted for the feature event on Saturday.  All classes will feature 24 car starting fields in the Saturday night feature event.

This new event will bring an exciting close to the 2008 racing season at Deer Creek Speedway.

Friday Night:
7:00 Hot laps for all classes.
Heats positioning will be determined by draw.
Drivers will transfer to dash per the following:
2 Heats Top 5 Transfer, 3 Heats Top 4 Transfer, 4 Heats Top 3 Transfer, 5 or More Heats Top 2 Transfer.
Dashes will consist of 1 lap per car, top 6 will advance to Saturday night’s A-Main event with Dash winner drawing for invert position on Saturday.

Saturday Night:
5:00 Start  (No Hot Laps).
Last chance qualifiers to fill the final 18 A-Main position.
Line-ups will be based off of Friday night’s finishing positions.
A-Main Events To Follow - 24 Car Fields.
A one time entry fee will apply.

On Saturday of the Hartland Nationals the winner of the 4-wheeler will be announced.

Anyone with additional regular night tickets can use these on Friday night and not pay any difference between their extra ticket and the Friday night ticket.  Saturday all tickets must be bought at the ticket window or in advance at www.deercreekspeedway.com

Karoke will also be on hand in the beer garden on Friday night.
