Gamblers Night this Saturday at Hamilton County Speedway


This Saturday, July 18, the Hamilton County Speedway driven by Spangler Automotive hosts Gamblers Night presented by Seneca Foundry with some great opportunities for racers to win extra money.

This Saturday’s event will feature the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series action in the USRA Modifieds, American Racer USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, Mensink Racing Products USRA Hobby Stocks and USRA Tuners plus Super Late Models.

Any class that has 21 or more entries will race for a minimum $100 extra to win and additional $20 to start. Compare our payouts to other local tracks and you will discover that racers earn a real racers wage in Webster City. Here are the weekly payouts for each division:

• Modifieds: 500, 400, 350, 300, 250, 200, 175, 150, 140, 130, 120, 110, 105, 100, 95, 90 to start.
• Stock Cars: 400, 300, 250, 200, 175, 150, 130, 120, 110, 100, 95, 90, 85, 80, 75 to start.
• B-Mods: 400, 300, 250, 200, 175, 150, 130, 120, 110, 100, 95, 90, 85, 80, 75 to start.
• Hobby Stocks: 300, 250, 200, 170, 140, 120, 110, 100, 95, 90, 85, 80, 75, 70, 65, 60 to start.
• Tuners: 125, 100, 85, 75, 65, 60, 55, 50, 45, 40, 35, 30 to start.

Modifieds will pay $750 to win and $100 to start with 20+ entries and $110 to start with 24+ entries. Tuners will pay $200 to win with 18+ entries.

Plus some lucky fan could walk away with the $400 prize this week in our Chuck-a-Duck Contest presented by Jerry Goebel State Farm Agent.

Huge August on tap: Following Season Championships on Aug. 8, the track will host a two-day rodeo featuring some of the best cowboys in the business. The following weekend we welcome the incredible truck and tractor pullers of the Lucas Oil Pro Puling League to the Hamilton County Speedway. We will come back hot and heavy keep racing for as long as Mother Nature and government officials allow.

The Hamilton County Speedway driven by Spangler Automotive is located off US 20 at exit 140, then 1.2 miles north, then 0.5 mile east on Bank St., then 0.4 mile south on Bluff St. to the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Webster City, Iowa. Opening in July 1910, the Hamilton County Speedway is the oldest speedway in the state of Iowa. In 1938, work began on the current location at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds. The semi-banked half-mile dirt track was completed in the spring of 1939, and the first races were held on the track in September of that year.
