Richards wires Humboldt USRA B-Mod field


Friday night at the Humboldt Speedway, Ray’s Metal Depot USRA B-Mod action saw Lansing pilot Jake Richards lead the 13-car field from start to finish on his way to victory circle.

Clint Johnson of Neosho, Mo., powered his way from the fifth row inside to ring up a runner-up finish.

Kenton Allen of Chanute turned in a well-executed effort to claim the third slot and Pittsburg ace Brian McGowen tallied a hard-fought fourth spot while Dan Daniels of Humboldt took home fifth.

Next Friday’s Hummer High Banks action features a full night of racing from all five regular classes. Gates open at 6 p.m. with hot laps at 7:15 and action at 8 with a full slate of local action heroes and heroines bringing the excitement.
