Mitch Hovden won the USRA Stock Car main event.

DECORAH, Iowa (July 26, 2025)—Saturday night’s Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series event at Winneshiek Raceway brought electrifying action across four classes, with Mitch Hovden, Dan Hovden, Joshua Ludeking, and Perry Kessel claiming victories in the USRA Stock Car, USRA B-Mod, USRA Hobby Stock, and USRA Tuner features, respectively.

In the USRA Stock Car feature, Mitch Hovden of Decorah charged from sixth to secure the win in a 13-car field. Brady Link of Waukon finished second, followed by Kevin Donlan of Decorah in third. Dylan Suhr of New Hampton took fourth, and Derek Dettmann of McGregor rounded out the top five.

The USRA B-Mod feature saw Dan Hovden of Decorah storm from eighth to claim victory in a 14-car field. Dale Schwamman of Fort Atkinson secured second, with Taylor Skauge of Caledonia, Minn., taking third. Nathan Butterfield of Galesville, Wis., finished fourth, and Chad Halverson of Decorah completed the top five.

In the USRA Hobby Stock feature, Joshua Ludeking of Decorah powered from eighth to take the checkered flag in a 16-car field. Steve Larson of Decorah claimed second, followed by Paul Seabrooke of Decorah in third. B.J. Dahl of Calmar surged to fourth, and Taylor Donlan of Decorah rounded out the top five.

The USRA Tuner feature saw Perry Kessel of Cresco hold the lead from the pole to win in a 10-car field. Jeremy Hills of Postville charged to second, followed by Cory Fels of Calmar in third. Katie Stahl of Castalia took fourth, and Carter Streicher of Monona completed the top five.

Makeup features from June 14 went to Cresco copetitors Jason Schlangen (USRA Stock Cars) and Scott Spilde (USRA Hobby Stocks).
