Houston Johnson won the USRA Modified main event.

WINSTON, Mo. (July 26, 2025)—Saturday night's Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series at I-35 Speedway showcased intense competition, with Houston Johnson, Chris Dishong, and Adam Dunwoodie claiming feature wins in their respective divisions.

In the USRA Modified feature, Houston Johnson of Kansas City dominated after getting around Steven Glenn of Hamilton early. Glenn held on for second,, followed by Terry Vantrump of Richmond, Jory Stotts of Gilman City and Jace Whitt of Hamilton.

The USRA Stock Cars saw Chris Dishong of Atchison, Kan., secure the victory. Brad Derry of Bedford, Iowa, claimed second, with Chris Mercer of Excelsior Springs, Matthew Lance of Savannah, and Anthony Robertson of Savannah completing the top five.

It was a rematch of last week’s USRA B Mod feature early on, with Polo's Adam Dunwoodie and Daniel Harris of Excelsior Springs battling it out lap after lap. Harris would take the lead only to have Dunwoodie grab the lead back on the next lap.

It was side-by-side action until trouble ended the night early for Harris, allowing Dunwoodie to set sail and emerge victorious. Londen McClure of St. Joseph finished second, followed by Josh Adkins of Savannah, Caleb Dennis of Chillicothe and Brett Holman of Gower.

The next event at I-35 Speedway is Saturday, Aug. 2, for Triple Cross Trucking Night.
