Vado opener postponed again
Conforming with the new stay-at-home guidelines New Mexico has issued recently, Vado Speedway Park has cancelled their practice session scheduled for Friday, April 10, as well as their Egggstravaganza event, including the Easter Bunny appearance, easter egg hunt and racing program, scheduled for Saturday, April 11.
"The health and welfare of our fans, racers, workers and sponsors is of utmost importance to us," General Manager Chris Stepan said. "We are as eager as anyone to get our season started, but we feel that the socially responsible thing to do is postpone the start of the season until we are given the 'all clear' to resume mass gatherings."
Once clearer guidelines are released by state officals, more specific details will be posted.
Please stay tuned to our website and social media platforms for upcoming announcments.
Thank you for your patience and we will see you at the races soon.
