Ryan Middaugh won the USRA Modified main event.

The Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series resumed Saturday at the Lake Ozark Speedway with Ryan Middaugh and Chris Spalding capturing the checkers.

Middaugh, who leads the track points standings in the USRA Modified division, scored an exciting win while Oak Grove veteran Chad Lyle followed the speedster from Fulton to the finish line.

Ronnie Woods of Mexico was third, Boonville's Curt Potter finishing fourth and Richard Kimberling of Slater completed the top five.

In Out-Pace USRA B-Mod action, Chris Spalding of Wellsville nabbed his first win of 2019 by holding off Earl Pryor of Troy who had won four of the last five features.

Chad Staus of Otterville came from 10th on the grid to get third and 19th-starting Tyler Lewis of Columbia held off Willard's Austin Joplin fof fifth.

Chris Spalding won the Out-Pace USRA B-Mod main event.

USRA Modifieds and Out-Pace USRA B-Mods will return next Saturday, September 14, for Season Championships with gates opening at 3 p.m. and racing at 7:15.
