Lebanon, Monett machines on display at Battlefield Mall
LEBANON, Mo. -- Some of the cars competing this season will be showing off their 2008 looks as the Lebanon I-44 Speedway, along with the Monett Speedway, will be displayed this weekend at the Battlefield Mall in Springfield, Mo., starting Friday, March 7, and will be there all weekend long through March 9.
This season the I-44 Speedway will be celebrating its Silver Anniversary of local racing action as the Monett Speedway will be celebrating its 38th season of racing action.
Some of the Cars expected to be on hand includes former I-44 Late Model campion Darrell Mooneyham (Aurora, Mo.), Brandon McCormick (Lebanon, Mo.), I-44 USRA Modified champion Tony Jackson Jr. (Lebanon), front-runner in the USRA Modifieds David Hendrix (Buckhorn, Mo.), former I-44 Modified champion Erik Maggard (Pleasant Hope) and many others.
