Hamilton County Speedway hosts Armed Forces Night this Saturday


The historic Hamilton County Speedway driven by Spangler Automotive roars back into action this Saturday, June 2, with Armed Forces Night presented by D&B Agro-Systems and a full program featuring six classes of race cars at the legendary dirt track in Webster City, Iowa.

Saturday will see the return of the Malvern Bank Super Late Models on the super-fast, super-smooth half-mile clay oval, along with the USRA Modifieds, Holley USRA Stock Cars, Out-Pace USRA B-Mods, Cook Racing Supplies USRA Hobby Stocks and USRA Tuners on the six-division card for the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series.

On the heels of Memorial Day Weekend, we continue to honor all those that have served with Armed Forces Night presented by D&B Agro-Systems.

Opening in July 1910, the Hamilton County Speedway is the oldest speedway in the state of Iowa. In 1938, work began on the current location at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds. The semi-banked half-mile dirt track was completed in the spring of 1939, and the first races were held on the track in September of that year.

The Hamilton County Speedway driven by Spangler Automotive is located off of US 20 at exit 140, then 1.2 miles north, then 0.5 mile east on Bank St., then 0.4 mile south on Bluff St. in Webster City, Iowa (1200 Bluff St, Webster City, IA 50595).
