Practice canceled for Pizza Hut Memphis Fall Nationals
MEMPHIS, Mo. -- Practice scheduled for Wednesday night, Oct. 11, at the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway has been canceled.
Qualifying for Modifieds, Stock Cars, B-Modifieds, Hobby Stocks, Outlaw Hobbies and Hornets will get underway on Thursday, Oct. 12.
On Friday, Oct. 13, Late Models will be racing in a complete $2,000-to-win show, joining a complete show featuring all seven classes.
Saturday, Oct. 14, will be last chance races for the final features which pay the Modifieds a whopping $5,000 to win, Stock Cars $2,000 to win, B-Modifieds going for $1,000 to win, Hobby Stocks for a $600 top prize, Outlaw Hobbies racing for $700 to win and Hornets for $300, plus the Late Models racing for $3,000 to win.
Races on Thursday and Friday gets underway at 6 p.m. Saturday's finale kicks off at 5 p.m.
Wednesday's practice session was slated as the only open session for hot laps during the three-day Pizza Hut Memphis Fall Nationals, but officials have announced that hot laps will be staged on Thursday prior to the opening night events.
