Memphis trek marks next round of O'Reilly MLRA stops

MEMPHIS, Mo. -- This coming Saturday, Aug. 12, marks another Missouri trek for the O'Reilly MLRA Late Models as the Series will make their initial 2006 "Thunder Tour" visit to the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway.

Saturday night will see great racing action as the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, Mo., will play host to the O'Reilly MLRA.

In 2005, two events were scheduled where Al Purkey grabbed the first stop while Mother Nature took hold on the second round.

A whole host of racing activities are schedule as the Bentz GM Country USRA Modified, USRA Stock Car, Advance Trading USRA B-Mod, USRA Hobby Stock, Outlaw Hobby and Hornet divisions will also take to the track.

Admission is only $15 for adults with kids ages 6 to 12 $5. Children 5 & under are FREE and pit passes are $25.

Gates open at 4 p.m. with hot laps at 6:15 and racing action taking to the track at 6:30.
